Chattanooga is known for a lot of things, but the Market Street Pedestrian Bridge has to be one of the most iconic. Whether you are new to Chattanooga or born and raised here, the walking bridge could be a great option for your engagement photos.
Keith and Christina’s engagement session happened to be on the most beautiful night in August! We had the perfect combination of sunshine and clouds, not to mention a little bit of a breeze to keep us cool. Keith and Christina moved to Tennessee in 2018, and are self-proclaimed foodies. They love to visit Chattanooga’s best restaurants! We started out the session with some sweet smiles and cuddles, and Lookout Mountain in the background.
The trick to taking photos on the walking bridge is being ready to jump in the middle when there is a break in people walking by, and that’s just what we did! If you and bae are morning people, sunrise is a great time for bridge photos!
Pro Tip: Schedule your engagement session for sunrise rather than than the evening so that there are less people to work around!
The next photos are from one of my favorite posing prompts. The best part? It’s so easy! Grab your fiancĂ©’s hand and walk towards me. Check ’em out!
Do you see the way that Keith and Christina look at each other? This is why I love to photograph couples! These two are getting married at The Pavilion at Five Gables in October, and I couldn’t be more excited. The Pavilion is perfect to achieve the boho-chic aesthetic Keith & Christina are looking for AND gorgeous mountain views.
The symmetry and leading lines that the bridge offers is a photographer’s dream for beautiful composition. I can’t resist a twirl & kiss prompt!
Another great part about choosing the Walking Bridge for engagement pictures is how close you are to other great photo spots. Keith, Christina, and I walked over to the Holmberg Bridge for a few more. Dreamy lighting, sweet smiles, and more cuddles!
