We can thank Bed Bath & Beyond and some cowboy boot shot glasses for this love story. Keith and Christina have been together for 11 years and moved to Chattanooga from New York in 2018. When they first told me about their vision for their October wedding, I knew every detail was going to be intentional and beautiful.
While all of the Howe Farms venues are gorgeous, the bridal suite at The Pavilion at Five Gables is unmatched- complete with six chair & mirror stations, lots of seating options, a kitchenette, massage chairs, and tons of natural light! It’s a dream for every bride, photographer, and hair+make up team!
When I arrived, Lizzie had already finished doing make up for Christina and her loved ones. Emily was putting finishing touches on Christina’s curls and making sure it was exactly what she had envisioned.
While the wedding party was busy getting ready, the vendor team was working together to set up the most beautiful ceremony and reception!
Erika and her team at Wildflower Wedding Planning coordinated with all of the other vendors a few weeks in advance to be sure that all of the details came together seamlessly. Christina’s vision for boho chic really shines with all of these pieces!
Christina’s mom helped her get into her bridal gown, customized to Christina’s style from OZ Bridal. The bridal party was in awe when they saw her! These long time friends travelled from New York to be a part of this day and it all started to feel real when they saw Christina in her dress and veil. Meanwhile, Keith was suiting up for the big day with his groomsmen. Did I mention Keith and Christina’s eye for style? Check out Keith’s orange suit from Gorgios Mens Warehouse.
The Bowtie Club is the perfect place for your groomsmen to get ready and have some fun before the ceremony. It’s a shared space between the other Howe Farms wedding venues, so you may even make some new friends!
Christina’s first look with her dad is one of the sweetest I’ve seen. What these pictures don’t show are the heartfelt words that Tom had for Christina and Keith. They were making all of us teary! Keith & Christina shared a moment together where they could hold hands, read their vows, and kick off the party with a shot!
This was such a fun way to remember the beginning of Keith & Christina’s love story. When they were working together at Bed Bath & Beyond, Keith mentioned to Christina that he liked the cowboy boot shot glasses that were in stock. Looking for a way to get to know him better, Christina bought the glasses and sent him a message on Facebook… The rest is history!
Ceremony time! Keith and Christina’s dog, Clover, joined us for the ceremony to see her favorite humans tie the knot!
Family photos wouldn’t be complete without Clover, who wanted her own first kiss!
Before heading in for the reception we had to stop by Tipsy Tin for a drink! The Ginger Peach Bourbon Smash was a hit all night long, and paired perfectly with the charcuterie table from Olive + Oak Charcuterie during cocktail hour. Christina and Keith are self-proclaimed foodies and made sure to treat their guests to a Chattanooga favorite for dinner. STIR served some delicious grilled chicken caprese, steak frites, and shrimp & grits. Next time you are downtown you have to check out their restaurant located inside of the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo!
I stole Christina and Keith for a few moments to take some dreamy golden hour photos and enjoy the sunset. The Pavilion is well known for its view of the sunset over the mountains!
I still can’t get over how beautiful these installations from Unveiled Design, The Copper Quail, and Creekside Flower Farm are. They made the perfect backdrop for cocktail hour and Bride & Groom portraits!
The reception festivities began with dances, speeches, and cutting the cake.
These guests couldn’t wait to get on the dance floor and into the photo booth! Logan from Scenic Event Solutions kicked off the party, playing one bop after another!
To close out the night, Keith and Christina shared a private last dance together. Wedding days go by so fast, and it’s such a surreal moment when they come to a close. While these two danced to “I Will Follow You”, by Toulouse, their guests lined up on the back patio to prepare to send them off.
Always, always go for an extra kiss at the exit! I’m filled with gratitude to have captured Keith & Christina’s day and to have worked with such a rockstar vendor team.
